I would just like to say many thanks for the remarkable information you share here. I am applying everything I can learn from your website, and am seeing amazing results in changing my lifestyle to one of health focused instead of schedule focused as you talk about. It has taken effort but it is worth the effort to be seeing the results in the mirror and experiencing the results in how I feel. Thanks again. KM

Hi my name is Donna and I just wanted to drop you a quick note here instead of calling you to say I how much a benefit this website has been to me. it has been in large part why I have now taken control of my health and getting my life back from ongoing illnesses that have plagued me for years. Eating live to thrive is not just a saying, …it is a truth.

Seriously? You make a lot of claims here. Can you back any of this up with proof or verify any of it? If so, I am your next customer! My health is failing and doctors only prescribe medications to ease my symptoms instead of helping me get rid of these maladies and illnesses that plague me. Thanks for the info

Hi there! This is my first comment here so I just wanted to give a quick shout out and tell you I truly enjoy reading your articles. Can you recommend a health forum where I can get questions answered about my progress and problems I am having. I enjoy the Veggie Chronicles Newsletter, but find that I want more information faster than it is coming through your newsletter. Maybe I am being impatient, but I am ready to be HEALTHY and get rid of the extra weight I have been carrying since my baby arrived. Thanks for your time!

A big thank you for your awesome encouragement and guidance in my health. The best decision I have made all year was to turn my bad eating habits into life health habits. Best Regards, NP

I was suggested this website through my cousin. I am not positive whether or not my current health will allow me to drastically change my diet, but am curious if I ease into it if I can have the same results as my cousin did in losing weight and reducing high blood pressure and hyperthyroid. Your site is incredible! Thanks!

While I was searching on Digg for something else,I found a link to your site. Thanks for not being overly commercialized and trying to sell something in every sentence of every article. it is refreshing to know that someone is just not in it for the money in the health business. Your story of overcoming chronic illness is an inspriation. thanks for being so transparent about your life. I look forward to my Veggie Chronicle newsletter arriving so I can begin changing my life for the good. ~ Florencia A.

Such great information here. I don’t want to seem like an article stalker so I won’t keep commenting on all the articles I read here, but I do want to tell you that I am glad you got sick so that you would learn how to get well. All you teach and share here is always such good information and easy to apply. Tanks again.

Needing to get rid of this fat! I am not portly, not large boned, not anything but fat, and I have done it to myself and rationalized my diet and lifestyle long enough. With you guys help, I am reclaiming my health, and leaving the fat people world behind!!!! Looking forward to beginning my new lifestyle for my health. No more excuses, no more junk foods or drinks, and no more pretending that it is my genes. It is my lifestyle!!!! UGGGGhhhh!

    1. David Ward

Zack, you get it. You have just won 75% of the battle for your health. Diet begins with controlling your will to eat foods that you know are unhealthy for you. Once you rid yourself of the justification to make poor decisions about what you put into your mouth, you will be so amazed at how your life changes for the good – emotionally, physically, and health wise. CONGRATULATIONS!

I have been hearing a lot about this website from my wife. It looks like it will be inevitable that I will be learning more since she has refused to buy any more meat after what is left in the freezer is gone. Thanks a lot!!! Grrrrrrrr….. ;-) No really, great information here. Keep up the good work.

    1. David Ward

Frank, I only recommend radically changing diets when chronic illness is the reason. Consider a 6 months transition period to reduce the amount of meats you have in your diet. Start with just cutting out meat from one meal a day and adding another source of protein like beans or sprouts, then another after a month or so, then to just a few times a week, until you retrain your taste buds to like the new replacement foods that will make you healthier. You are going to love the way you feel my friend!
